Quinta Soalheira Red Wine is a winemaking gem that pays homage to the rich traditions of the Douro region.

The winemaking and aging process is a masterpiece of technique and dedication.
After complete destemming and gentle crushing of the grapes, a brief pre-fermentation maceration is carried out, followed by fermentation in a tannery for approximately 6-8 days at a controlled temperature of 28°C, with frequent pump-overs.
After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is separated from the masses with which it fermented.
Subsequently, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in vats, followed by aging in French oak barrels for 9-12 months.
The bottling is carried out under optimal conditions, with processing in an inert atmosphere and total deoxygenation of the bottle to preserve its freshness and complexity.
Quinta Soalheira is an integral part of the three Quintas de Borges, along with Quinta de Simaens and Quinta de São Simão da Aguieira.
Each Quinta brings unique characteristics that highlight the terroir and the specificities of each region.
