Viña Pomal Selección 500 Crianza is a red wine from the Rioja Designation of Origin produced by the Bodegas Bilbaínas winery.
This winery has over one hundred years of experience in producing high-quality wines in the La Rioja wine region, and is located in the town of Haro, one of the most important wine-growing areas in the region.
Viña Pomal Selección 500 Crianza is made from Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes, grown in vineyards in Rioja Alta.
After harvesting, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature to preserve the aromas and flavors of the fruit.
Subsequently, the wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for 14 months, which gives it aromatic complexity and elegance on the palate.
The Viña Pomal Selección 500 Crianza has an intense garnet red color, with violet reflections on the edge of the glass.
On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits, such as plum and cherry, are perceived, with spicy and vanilla notes, coming from barrel aging.
