The Dalmore 12 Year Old Whisky from The Dalmore Distillery is aged for an initial period of nine years in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels before being carefully divided.

One half continues its maturation in bourbon barrels while the other half is transferred to 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso barrels.

The Dalmore 12 Years is complex, yet balanced.

It is the personification of the Dalmore house style.

The Dalmore and González Byass style of the Dalmore house originates from a close and trusting relationship that was forged with the González Byass Winery more than 100 years ago.

The casks used by the Spanish collaborators, which initially contained 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry, are later destined for The Dalmore, who use them to enrich the characteristic chocolate and orange character of their whisky with rich flavors and a nutty aftertaste.
